Edi Rama was born on October 10, 1961 in Thessaloniki, Greece. He is a renowned contemporary artist whose paintings and sculptures explore the human condition through realism and abstraction. Rama has two children – daughter Nelly (born in 1984) and son Peiris (born in 1988).

Rama’s daughter Nelly is an artist in her own right and currently lives and works in London. She has exhibited solo exhibitions at venues including the Whitechapel Gallery, Liverpool Biennial, Beijing Museum of Contemporary Art, and Serpentine Gallery. Rama’s son Peiris is also an artist. He lives and works in Athens. Eva Rama is the eldest daughter of the artist and philosopher, Edi Rama. She was born in 1949 in Tirana, Albania. After graduating from high school in 1967 she moved to Paris to attend the prestigious École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts where she studied painting with Jean Dubuffet and sculpting with Raymond Delaunay. In 1971 she founded her own studio in Paris and has since exhibited her work in many galleries around the world. Her paintings are characterized by their use of bright primary colors and distinctive abstract designs. Eva has also published several books on art theory and criticism.

Toni Rama is the second eldest daughter of Edi Rama. She was born in 1952 in Tirana, Albania. After graduating from high school she moved to Rome to study art at the Sapienza University where she received her degree in sculpture in 1974. During her time as a student at the University Toni met her husband, Fausto Zonca, who would later become known as one of Italy’s most acclaimed graphic designers.
